JUNE 11, 2010- For the sixth year in a row, Sex and Consciousness Educators, Guides and Practitioners will gather for the Fall Conference, this year in Seattle Oct 15-17, 2010. ISTA presents co-producer REiD Mihalko, Mistress of Ceremonies Triambika and Keynote Speaker David Cates. Experts will come together to share their knowledge and wisdom of Sacred Sexuality and Tantra with each other and the general public. Sexuality is an important part of the human experience. Anyone who desires a healthier relationship with their sexuality is invited to attend the conference. This year the conference is being held at the Holiday Inn with Sensual Seattle performances and parties at the Little Red Studio.
"It is time for people to heal their sexual wounds and reclaim their personal power. I have helped people around the world move beyond shame, guilt and fear and reclaim their sexual wholeness," says Baba Dez Nichols, Founder of the Sedona Spring Conference, Sedona Temple and International School of Temple Arts (ISTA). “We work with people who experience conditions such as impotence and sexual abuse as well as those who seek freedom from the dogmas of their upbringing.” He is currently on a World Tour of 30 countries to educate and expand awareness for the vision of life force mastery. With the help of local organizers, he offers Sex and Consciousness Conferences and Practitioner trainings in Great Britain, Amsterdam, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.
Who will be there and what will be happening?
The real question is, who will not be there? These conferences attract some of the best in our field as well as returning, well-loved presenters from our conferences around the world over the last decade. Come and meet your spiritual family! Play, share, learn, grow, laugh, cry, celebrate, network, refresh, love and be loved!
Who is invited?
Please join us if you are:
Currently working as a Conciousness Educator and/or practicing the Temple Arts, or sacred sexual healing arts
In service to the world as a daka/dakini/tantrika/Guide
Beginning to realize that your calling as a therapist, lifecoach, bodyworker, or sexworker can have a more sacred dimension
Or desiring to incorporate sexuality into your healing work.
Spouses, partners, family members, and support people/friends of practitioners are also welcome. If you are not sure, give us a call and ask. This gathering is a delightful blend of innocence and experience, advanced and beginners, from the worlds of tantra, sexwork, sex education, escorting, bodywork, massage, counseling, therapy and spiritual awakening.
Why should you come?
Because conciousness enriches our lives.
Because a career in concious sexuality is still such a taboo in this society.
Because it is healing to be with peers who understand the unique pressures and challenges of working in this field.
Because you are not alone.
Because we are learning so much emotionally, spiritually, legally, practically, financially, physically, holistically, and it is a blessing to share our wisdom with each other.
Because it is fun to be with people who can embrace and celebrate life.
What will I learn?
We will hear presentations from some of the most successful teachers and practitioners in our field. There will be a blend of presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and group wisdom circles with open discussions.
We also showcase new books and other educational tools as well as screening new documentaries and short films on Sacred Sexuality, its Teachers and Practitioners
